The 17th EADV Spring Symposium, in Ljubljana, 12-14 May 2022, is the ideal return to face-to-face learning with extensive networking opportunities to share the latest research and foster scientific collaboration. 

The 3-day scientific programme, accredited by the “Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes” (UEMS), will continue a long-established tradition of academic excellence in the fields of dermatology and venereology, with more than 20 sessions and more than 70 top-level speakers.

The sessions will cover a selection of key topics including skin cancer, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, STIs, acne, hair and nail disorders, paediatric dermatology and aesthetic dermatology and more.

The anticipated plenary lecture will focus on the “Emerging viral infections of the 21st century”, delivered by Prof. Tatjana Avšič Županc, virologist and specialist in medical microbiology at the University of Ljubljana.

Topics will be presented in different formats, depending on the session type;

• Clinical updates will provide the latest news on the current clinical practice in different fields of dermatology. 
• Clinical cases discussion will focus on relevant problems in daily practice and will provide guidance for differential diagnosis. 
• Breaking news sessions will present the latest developments in rapidly changing fields of dermatology and venereology.

Moreover, as at all EADV events, newest research from abstract submissions will feature alongside hundreds of e-posters available for viewing in the e-poster area, whilst the highest rated abstracts will be presented in the Free Communications sessions on the final day.
