NON MEMBERS

This category applies to every Non-Member/Healthcare Professional and Non-Member/Non-Healthcare Professional. 

According to the Healthcare Professional Definition, Non-Members/Non-Healthcare Professional do not have access Industry Sessions restricted to HCPs only.

Therefore, if you are a “Non-Member Corporate” please refer and register to the category “Industry Participant”.

INDUSTRY PARTICIPANTS

This category has been created to enable employees of the Industry (such as distributors, industry representatives, marketers, business developers, CEO, COO, etc. working in the field of dermatology) to gain full access to the event (Scientific Sessions + Industry Sessions).

IMPORTANT: Industry Session organisers could limit participation to certain representative groups independently from EADV recommendations if deemed imperative to the achievement of the intended purpose of the Industry session. The organising company reserved the right to refuse single badge, in particular if not adequately related to the objective and purpose of the session.

On the badge, the name of the company sponsoring the registration will be displayed.

TRAINEE (under 35 years old)

A Trainee is classified as a person, under the age of 35, doing an internship or postgraduate medical training specialized in dermato-venereology.

The application has to be accompanied by a copy of the passport as well as by a valid Proof of Status meeting all of the below requirements:

  1. It must be issued in English;
  2. It must be issued on official hospital or university letterhead;
  3. The date of issue must not be older than 6 months from the date of registration;
  4. It must clearly state your position within the institution, practice, etc.
  5. It must display the applicant’s full name and date of birth;
  6. It must state the beginning and the end of the residency;
  7. It must be signed by hand (no electronic signature) by the head of department (hospital or academic institution) confirming the status of the applicant;
  8. It must include the following details about the head of department: full name, department, email address and telephone number;
  9. It must be accompanied by a copy of the passport of the applicant (please, make sure the document is understandable to international readers).

Please, also take into consideration the following about Proof of Status:

  • The Registration Team must review and approve it;
  • The review process may take more than 10 working days: please allow sufficient time for this procedure before the deadline. Only rejected Proof of Status will be notified by email;
  • Incomplete applications are not considered;
  • To finalize a registration, both the Proof of Status and payment have to be received before the relevant deadline.

Online registrations are possible until Wednesday, 27 April 2022 only. After this date, it will be possible to register only on-site presenting the above mentioned documentation.

STUDENT (under 35 years old)

A Student is classified as a person, under the age of 35, studying at university in order to get a degree in a medical field and is not authorised to prescribe or dispense prescription medicines/drugs. 

Students are not considered as Healthcare Professionals under the current guidelines and will be automatically classified as Non-Healthcare Professional.

The application has to be accompanied by a copy of the passport as well as by a valid Proof of Status meeting all of the below requirements:

  • It must be issued in English;
  • It must be issued on official hospital or university letterhead;
  • The date of issue must not be older than 6 months from the date of registration;
  • It must clearly state your position within the institution, practice, etc.
  • It must display the applicant’s full name and date of birth;
  • It must be signed by hand (no electronic signature) by the head of department (hospital or academic institution) confirming the status of the applicant;
  • It must include the following details about the head of department: full name, department, email address and telephone number;
  • It must be accompanied by a copy of the passport of the applicant (please, make sure the document is understandable to international readers).

NURSES

A nurse is classified as a person employed in a hospital or clinic as a Nurse.

A Medical Assistant is classified as a person involved in the nursing care of dermatology and venereology patients.

To validate the registration category, the application has to be accompanied by a copy of the current Medical License/Diploma as well as a dated Proof of Status from the employer meeting all of the below requirements:

  1. It must be issued in English;
  2. It must be issued on official hospital letterhead;
  3. The date of issue must not be older than 6 months from the date of registration;
  4. It must clearly state your position within the institution, practice, etc.
  5. It must be signed by hand (no electronic signature) by the head of department (hospital or academic institution) confirming the status of the applicant;
  6. It must include the following details about the head of department: full name, department, email address and telephone number.

Please, also take into consideration the following about Proof of Status:
